The afterlife isn't quite what seventeen-year-old theater geek Nanette expected. She thought she would find peace and freedom from her troubles. Instead, she's become a guardian angel who must earn her wings by saving a young teen from taking her own life. However, Nanette is missing more than just her wings. She has no tangible body or voice, either. If she's going to find peace in the afterlife, Nanette will have to discover what living is really all about. Note: Angelhood is a speculative fiction with fantasy elements that are not to be considered a theological presentation of angels, just as one would not look for Catholic teaching in It's a Wonderful Life. Unlike the contemporary TV series "13 Reasons Why," this story shows the ugliness of suicide and promotes consideration of the consequences of actions.
"...this book has a definite Christian message but is non-traditional in its presentation, storyline, and outcome. It's a great book for teenagers going through some kind of inner turmoil"
