Author's Christmas Fun Fact
Marie has a fond memory of a Slovak Christmas tradition that involved a Oplatky, an unleavened wafer imprinted with the scene of the holy birth. As the family members wished each person a Merry Christmas, they would break off a piece of each other's wafer to enjoy with a bit of honey.
