Author's Christmas Fun Fact
When I was a band director, I used to take some of my students caroling using their band instruments. We would play Christmas songs at area nursing homes. I wrote arrangements of "Good King Wenceslas" for them to play, since I remembered that song from childhood so fondly. Back then I never dreamed I'd someday write a book about the real Saint Wenceslas and visit the Czech Republic where he lived on three different occasions!
