RIGHTFULLY OURS, a coming-of-age story of first love, buried treasure, and discovering some things are worth the wait, was originally titled All That Glitters. It was the first novel Carolyn Astfalk wrote, but the third published, undergoing many revisions along the way. It's the only novel with teenage protagonists, but she's working on another including characters from her short story "A Perfect Christmas," from Catholic Teen Books' Gifts: Visible & Invisible anthology.
LEAF-RUBBING CHRISTMAS CARD CRAFT

Author's Christmas Fun Fact
Christmas cut-out butter cookies are a family tradition. Carolyn grew up helping to bake and decorate about 12 dozen of these cookies annually to share with family and friends. That’s a lot of stars, bells, Santas, and Christmas trees!
